@Scorpius
Rose smiled at the ground. She felt as though her heart was beating so fast it could stop any second. She glanced back up the bath from the castle, hoping to see a certain blonde boy, but alas, he wasn’t there yet. She fixed her skirt as she sat down on the pier, looking into the deep, dark waters of the lake. She let her mind wander as she seemed to lose herself in the stillness of the lake. It’s no surprise her mind wandered to her favorite person in the world. She thought back to their fourth year..
“Be there,” he whispered in her ear as he slid a piece of parchment into her hand. “And I’ll see you after class, Weasley.” “Same to you, Malfoy.” she said, standing on her tip-toes to give him a quick kiss before heading off to DADA. That night, they met up by the lake for the first time since their first year. The two of them stayed up ‘til dawn, staring at the stars and talking. This had been their meet up spot ever since.
She smiled to herself, so lost in thought that she didn’t hear the foot steps approaching or the creaking of the pier as she was joined by her blonde ferret boy..
Scorpius looked down at the piece of parchment in his hand and crumpled it out of frustration. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath and flattened it out again. Today was just another normal day and he wanted to surprise Rose Weasley with a song. She was always somewhat mesmerized whenever he sang to her. But today he couldn’t write anything that would be good enough for her. He sighed and reread the piece of parchment that was lying in front of him.
Your best illusion is your smile
The little glimmer in your eyes
I’m not saying too much, am I?
Well this is where my heart lies
He groaned again, crumpling the parchment and tossing it in a garbage can across the room. Scorpius wanted to give Rose a song to show her how beautiful she was but now he thought that words just couldn’t express her beauty. He figured he could do it another day and it’ll prolly be time to meet Rose by the pier anyway.
Scorpius made his way to their meeting place and grinned to himself when he caught sight of her. He sat down next to her and greeted her with a kiss on her cheek. “Good afternoon, love.”
